Communicable Disease Program Program Summary: The Communicable Disease (CD) Program focuses on the detection, investigation, prevention and control of communicable diseases. The CD program is responsible for collecting and analyzing surveillance data, investigating disease events, responding to disease outbreaks, and managing public health responses to prevent and control the spread of communicable diseases and minimize their impact on the community.
