Food Processors, Manufacturers, and Warehouses' Requirements
As of Jan. 1, 2003, food processors,
manufacturers and warehouses in El Paso County are not licensed
or inspected by the El Paso County Department of Health and
Environment. Such facilities must, however, be registered with
the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s
Consumer Protection Division. These facilities also must comply
with the state’s Current Good Manufacturing Practices
and the Colorado Pure Food and Drug Law. For more information,
