Emergency Preparedness
How We Protect You
We provide education about emerging public health threats such as a possible flu pandemic.
We provide credible information to help you prepare to protect yourself and your family in an emergency.
We work to ensure that the Health Department's employees and staff are prepared to respond to pandemics, acts of terrorism and other emergencies that threaten public health.
We work closely and train with first-responder agencies and other partners to be better prepared to protect the public.
We provide emergency preparedness planning, training, exercises and epidemiology to a five-county region in Colorado.
