How We Protect You

  • We focus on improving the health, development and well-being of individuals from birth to age 21 who have special health care needs.

About HCP

  • The El Paso County Health Department functions as the Regional HCP Office, serving residents of El Paso and Teller counties.
  • Program activities include:
    • Referrals for medical and developmental services and information
    • Coordination of medical and social support services, as well as services offered through the Colorado Traumatic Brain Injury Trust Fund
    • Support group and training information
  • HCP staff consists of:
    • Public health nurses
    • Registered dietitian
    • Licensed social worker
    • Community service coordinators
