About Child Health Promotion
- Primary goals include working to assure that children have healthy, safe and nurturing environments.

Program activities include:
- Health and safety inspections of licensed child care facilities
- Committee partnerships and collaborations focused on the well-being of children
- Community education and prevention of child abuse, positive parenting, health and safety and children's health advocacy
- Child Health Liaison Program, which mentors staff at licensed child care facilities on how to protect and improve children's health and safety
