The El Paso County Tobacco Education and Prevention
Partnership (TEPP) is the local program for the State
Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership (STEPP).
Local programs are required to develop and implement
tobacco prevention and education activities that include:
- Increase local level capacity for tobacco prevention
through strategic planning
- Promote cessation
- Prevention education
- Reduce environmental tobacco smoke
- Identify and eliminate disparities in tobacco morbidity
and mortality among different population groups
The TEPP Coalition usually meets the first Thursday
of each month from 12-1:30 p.m. Contact tepp@epchealth.org
