Public Notice: The El Paso County Health Department's Vital Records department will be closing at 3:15 PM on Thursday and Friday, August 21 and 22. We will resume regular hours (8 AM to 4:15 PM) on Monday, August 25.

Vital Records provides certified copies of birth certificates for the State of Colorado and certified copies of death certificates for El Paso County.

Birth Certificates	Death Certificates
We have birth certificates from all Colorado counties from 1910 to present and El Paso County Birth Records from 1890 to present.	We have death records for deaths that have occurred in El Paso County only from 1893 to the present.

How to Obtain a Certificate:

The cost for a Birth certificate is $17.75, and the cost of a second copy is $10.00 per order.
The cost for a Death certificate is $17.00, and the cost of a second copy is $10.00 per order.
