Clear The Air is an awareness campaign to educate residents and visitors of Colorado about the harms of secondhand smoke and vapor and inspire everyone to work together to keep the air we share clean and healthy for all.
There is no safe amount of exposure to secondhand smoke. Protect yourself, protect others from secondhand smoke by eliminating smoking where people live, work and play.
Secondhand smoke exposure is the third leading cause of preventable death in the U.S. When children or adults exposed for any length of time, it can have a negative effect on their health.

Local Initiatives

The Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership (TEPP) works to prevent initiation of tobacco use especially among youth and young adults, promote cessation and assist tobacco users to quit and protect people from secondhand smoke in El Paso County.
TEPP partners with local housing authorities, property managers, workplaces, colleges and cities and towns in El Paso County to implement tobacco-free policies across the community.
