Reproductive Health Clinic

El Paso County Public Health Reproductive Health Clinic provides the following services through our clinic:

  • Exams, testing and treatment for STIs
  • Short- and long-term birth control options
  • Reproductive health education
  • Pregnancy testing and counseling
  • Exams for women, including Pap smears, pelvic and breast exams, and well woman exams
  • HIV-Prep

The Reproductive Health Clinic accepts Medicaid

Same-day or next-day appointments available. Walk-ins are accommodated when our schedule allows. In addition to Medicaid, we offer fees for services charged on a sliding scale based on income. Some lab fees require full payment. We are happy to answer your questions about payment and fees for services.

The Reproductive Health Clinic accepts the following insurances*

  • Anthem Blue Cross Blue Sheild
  • Cigna
  • Health First Colorado (Colorado Medicaid)
  • United HealthCare
  • UMR (United Medical Resources)

*Please note: Coverage is determined by your insurance provider and is subject to their specific policies and limitations. Our clinic is not responsible for determining coverage eligibility or benefit details. We recommend contacting your insurance carrier directly for confirmation of your coverage.

NOTICE: Effective August 18, 2025, the Reproductive Health Clinic will collect payment at the time of service. This change helps the clinic continue providing high-quality care and service to our community. For more details, questions, or concerns please call (719) 578-3199, Option 1.

Eligibility and Fees

Reproductive health services are available on a sliding scale fee.  Additionally, many services are billable to Medicaid, and we accept many private insurances (please call ahead to confirm if we accept your insurance).

Clients should be prepared to provide income documentation if requesting fees based on income.  Donations are appreciated and help with continued funding.

Please note that reproductive health services are provided with revenues from federal and state grants and fees paid by clients.  No client will be denied services because of an inability to pay.
